Caring and Sharing

My daughter did not CARE for the last picture I posted and asked me to please SHARE another picture so she wouldn't have to keep looking at it on her reader.  She didn't care for that picture because she doesn't care for Party Pizzas because she doesn't care for meat.  I, on the other hand, had grown tired of it because I kept getting HUNGRY looking at it!  It is our very own version of the generation gap...

So I rushed, or perhaps sauntered, maybe even just schlepped outside this morning and photographed a snowflake I made last night, and truth be told, MANY nights before, because I tat slower than Christmas!  It is Jon's Quantiesque Snowflake done in a size 20 Lizbeth thread.  It was a pleasure to make!

If I sew more quickly than I tat, you will see it hanging on my tree soon...

Ann! Your snowflake is GORGEOUS! It s just the right shade of blue and your stitching is brilliant! Way to go! (You made it in ONE night???)

Funny about the pizza. I would make it without the meat, as I am the vegetarian in my family.

The kids are all meat eaters. I will eat it if I necessary - and there are times when I find it would be best to do so, but given my druthers, I avoid it. So - another generational eating example...
Fox: not a flesh eater : ))

That snowflake is so pretty -- I love the center where it's intertwined (which looks really tricky, although I guess I wouldn't know). The blue color was a perfect choice -- years ago I crocheted some white snowflakes, but I like your blue much better. It sounds like you're going to do something more elaborate than just adding starch and a hook.

My daughter was a vegetarian for 5 or 6 years, and now suddenly she is not -- go figure!

You did a beautiful job on Jon's Quantiesque and I really like your tatted sun. You have a beautiful blog; I enjoyed reading your posts.

Love the snowflake. I am fairly new at tatting. Only practiced on small patterns. Also I have picked up a shuttle in I don't know how long; I probably don't remember how. I enjoy too many things and become a master of none.:)
