A Pressing Matter and a GIVEAWAY!

I like to carry my tatting with me EVERYWHERE.

I dislike the tatting that I take with me EVERYWHERE ending up in a CLUMP of tangled thread and shuttles, causing me to spend more time UNTANGLING on the go than TATTING on the go.

This became a PRESSING matter for me so I created a
TATTING PRESS.

Now my work stays neat,
even when life gets messy...

If you would like to try a tatting press, leave a comment ON THIS POST telling me which fabric/ribbon combination you like (brown, pink or green).  It will measure about 4.5 inches in diameter and (hopefully) will have two shuttle pockets.  No worries if you don't (currently) tat.  I think the press may be useful for other crafts as well.  You can let me know about that!

I will draw one name on May 21st and get the press to you ASAP!  Please make sure there is a way for me to contact you so I can get your mailing information (my email is under About Me).

This is my first giveaway.
HOPEFULLY I have covered all the bases!
Oh, and good luck!

What a clever idea. I seem to just throw the shuttles and project in a sandwich baggy and then can put it in my shirt pocket. Would probably prefer a manly color/ not to flowery even thou I tat flowery bookmarks, etc. Take care and happy tatting.

That is a very good idea. Perfect not just for tatting, but for small cross stitch or hardanger projects. I like them all, but I think the brown is my favorite.

Anonymous - "That's a really great idea. Please enter me in your giveaway. I like the green one. Please will you show us how you make them so that all the people who are not lucky enough to win can make their own." I WILL GLADLY ADD YOUR NAME TO THE HAT, BUT I WILL NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CONTACT YOU.

Robert - Rest assured, if your name is drawn from the hat, I can make it manly.

Darn -- I can't think of anything I work on that is quite small enough to fit in that darling keeper. Just wanted to let you know what a clever thing you are to come up with this idea -- and it's so cute!

How beautiful, and such a good idea! I'd love to have one -- especially the green one, it's so cheerful. :) If I get lucky, you can reach me at marty1077 at yahoo dot com.

If I don't get lucky and win the pretty press, are you going to provide the pattern or maybe other presses for purchase?

WOW!! great idea! I've started tatting during the easter holidays and just the other day my mum said: "you have to finish your work before you let it in the case".. but I live in Rome and I have to catch the bus to go to my job office.. I always do some knitting or crochet in the bus.. end I wanted to tat too! now this is the solution!!
goo job!!
