Inspired by Fox's sometimes murderous post titles, I have come up with the cover of a book I will most likely NEVER write, unless Fox can also inspire roughly 268 pages to go between... But I DO have a rather nice pen name, don't you think?
omg are you implying that it was a CROCHETER who killed the tatter/tatting???!!? :P tee hee, I'd read it!!! maybe you could serialize it on your blog, like Dickens did, well he didn't have a blog, but you see what I mean :)
What a great book this would be. Maybe this book can be a Round Robin Book and passed onto different tatters. They could take a turn and write the next chapter then pass it onto the next person. How cool would that be!! LOL!!
OK, Patrice, get to it! You could be the next Jennifer Chiaverini with a tatting guild novel series! Just think - patterns and HDT to go with the novels. We could start a Tat Camp from an old mansion . . .
Uff da. I better stick with my day job and let you get writing!
Thank you everyone! I must say, I can't get poor Gertie out of my head. If I should discover who her killer is, I'll let you know - Oh! AND a motive! But Julie, I can safely say it was not a crocheter!
So funny, Ann. I love your book -- the cover is fabulous and the synopsis enticing. I think you may have hit on something here -- tatters should have their own book series, and yours would be way more exciting than those smarmy quilt books.
Oh, COME ON! COME ON! You've got to finish it! OR You could start an ongoing word game for the story where each poster write three words to the story and the next poster writes the next 3 words in continuation and so on and so forth with the only rule being that you just don't write two posts back to back...there needs to be one in between! You could start it here or at InTatters! It would be fun! Then we could all share in the Murder Mystery and you could sell copies when it was done! Oh, that would be fun! Just a thought... ~TattingChic ♥

That's great. I think you should write the book to go with the blurb, it sounds like it could be quite good.
I love that! It sounds like it would be a great book (so get to work!) and I'd definitely read it.

Oh, Ann,
! did enjoy that! Great idea for a book and the title is a killer!
Go for it. Really.
I should talk - with 250 pages of a finished manuscript languishing in my desk drawer - at the botton!
You are so finny!

Hilarious. I support the suggestion to have a serial on this on your blog. It is going to one heck of a killer post (pun intended), LOL.
