My kids are lucky to have SUCH nice teachers, so I wanted to do SOMEthing for them at the end of the school year. I saw this idea from Martha via Craftpad and decided to give it a try. It went together so easily, was fun to do, and for once I felt no need to add extra embellishment. Color + texture = happy crafter! I filled the bags with goodies (OK, maybe FILLED is an exaggeration) and sent the kids off with them for the last day of school. Mission accomplished!

Thank you Colleen! I am always a little skeptical when I start a project that is SUPPOSED to be easy, but this one REALLY WAS! I had 6 bags done in a little over an hour.

Very cute totes! I love that idea of just one letter, very fun! And your idea for three doily's at the bottom of a skirt!!!!!!!! Love that!!!!!!!! Let me know if you make it...I want to see it! THanks for saying hello! -Allison
Thanks Allison! They were super easy. I'll let you know about the skirt. Hopefully, it will become more than just an idea in my head...

What a wonderful idea! I never did anything like that for my kids's teachers when they were young. Good for you!
What audio book did you get? I have been listening to a lot of mystery rubbish - not great , but better than television I have a list I could send you of what I have listened to , if you like. There are a few good ones in the lot.
Fox : )
Hi Fox!
Thanks! I'd like to check out your list. I'm not even sure what titles are available. I troll through the library's audio books usually with my littlest one grabbing away (too bad she never picks up any good ones). I just listened to a Sophie Kinsella, chick lit one - good for summer. I also picked up a mystery by Jill Churchill. I haven't read her before.
Also, where do you get your audio books?
