ReplyDeleteHow nice! Sharon has done wonders in promoting tatting, and I'm sure she'll love this pretty tatting press. I'm looking forward to the tutorial!

ReplyDeleteHey Diane!
I really appreciate all that Sharon has done for tatting also. I got to work on the tutorial on my "lunch hour" today!

Well, I found my way here via Cindy, via the 25 Motif Challenge. And, I have to know- what is a tatting press????
ReplyDeleteHi LadyDoc! Thank you for coming by!
ReplyDeleteThe Tatting Press is something I made up last spring. I had gotten tired of my to-go tatting projects getting so tangled up that I couldn't tat when I got a spare moment - only untangle. I wanted something that held my tatting in place and the shuttles apart.
I used mine on our summer vacation and around town and I really like it. Currently I am making a handful to give away to tatters I have "met" online and I plan to give away a couple in a random drawing soon, as well as, share the tutorial and pattern which I am working on.
The post which shows a few more detailed picks is here:
