So pleased to learn of your new T.A.T. journey. Wanna do the lessons together? I have had my binder since (*mumbles*) (*further muffles words with hand over mouth*) um, 1998.
Ha Ha Ha Isdihara! I would LOVE to go through the T.A.T. with you, but I suspect that were you to pull your binder off the shelf you would ZOOM far ahead of me! For me the program is a necessity because I have SO MUCH to learn - for you it is simply a formality, you do BEAUTIFUL work already!
Hello Victats! If I WERE in possession of such material - which I'm not saying I AM - I would be grateful for your well wishes. Thank you!
Thank you A Happy Bluebird (I like your handle), I must admit that never being a girl scout myself, but having helped my daughter earn badges and pins of her own, I DO want that pin! And I know there will be value in good AND bad critiques. I can't think of another craft that has a program like this - I feel like I NEED to take advantage of it!
Thank you Fox! You are in large part the reason I am giving the T.A.T. a go. I know that talent and determination have brought you this far in a year, but it seems like the program gives good guidance and direction. My 8 year old decided it when she asked me if I was going to be a "tatologist" - she got that from the name of your blog! And yes, the grass is greener, but that is just because it is on the "other side."
Wow -- I had no idea there was such a thing and I am really impressed with the idea of it. I wish there had been something like this when I was learning to do tiny crochet from a book. I hope we'll get to see all the projects -- this is going to be so interesting. Congratulations! -- I know you're going to create some stunning pieces.
Hi Martha! I have been thinking the same thing - "I wish there had been something like this when I was trying to learn how to..."
Unfortunately I am not allowed to show anything tatted from the program, HOWEVER, i hope that there will be an improvement in my tatting and that I will be able to tackle some more difficult patterns. So hopefully I will have some interesting stuff to post as I learn more.

ReplyDeleteWhile you have neither confirmed nor denied your possession of TAT apprentice I wish you good luck!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck with your T.A.T. program projects! It's so fun to receive that pin of achievement and all the critiques of your work.
ReplyDeleteI can neither confirm nor deny that I send "good for you" greetings....
